Is said that 20% of golfers fall foul of the lake guarding the 13th, a long par three .
The first of all the Algarve golf courses, reverentially known as "The Penina".
The gently rolling fairways are well manicured, the hazards are well placed and numerous and the greens are always in great condition.
The course whilst not a masterpiece is an good, attractive and challenging classic Mediterranean layout and is thoroughly recommended.
